About

In 1985, Silverio Silvestro purchased Rosemarie Bakery, which operated on 86th St. in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn.  With only 50 accounts in 1987, the bakery was relocated to Staten Island. By enlisting the help of his son, Joseph, the business began to grow exponentially. Rosemarie now supplies fresh baked goods to some of the best known retailers in the New York and New Jersey areas.

Today, Joseph continues the family legacy as president of the company, fully assuming all of the responsibilities he once shared with his father.  Over the years, Rosemarie Bakery has expanded from Italian bread to many other varieties including Kaiser Rolls, 3 to 6 foot heroes, as well as a variety of cookies. Rosemarie Bakery has become one of the largest wholesale bakeries in Staten Island.  We have recently opened a retail shop on site. You can now purchase fresh baked products at our newly opened bakery shoppe.
